3-D animation, from cars to humans, can add realistic motion and high scores for test spots. Whether the entire spot or a small segment of your idea requires 3-D, our proprietary 3D rendering technology provides real time animation and interaction. Live actors are shot against a blue screen using a digital camera, composited on the computer with appropriate backgrounds, and animated. Action elements such as arms, hands, legs are cut out from the photographs, modidified to fit the color scheme and lighting scene. Photomatics are preferred by clients that are looking for very realistic styles.

For action sequences and subtle facial expressions, Animaticmedia has an onsite performance capture studio that can record movement from live actors. That movement is either translated onto a 3D digital model or captured onto video for rotoscoping 2D animation.
